Cara is one of South Australia’s largest disability-services providers. They work with more than 700 children and adults with disability and now employ more than 1000 staff members. In recent years they have undergone significant business transformation to improve and maintain organisational performance for long-term sustainability. This has resulted in significant growth which has led to the creation of this new position of Financial Controller.
Reporting to the CFO you will have oversight of the day to day accounting function including forecasting and budgeting, preparation of financial reports, valuating and managing risk and handling tax matter. You and your team will provide the analysis of the impact of operational decisions, develop reports and financial forecasts that will assist with decision making.
We need a commercially astute CA/CPA who can quickly get to know the business and establish strong relationships across the organisation. Recognised as a leader who will mentor and coach, you will have high attention to detail and proven experience in financial management. You will also bring your expertise in process improvement to ensure that the systems, processes and internal controls keep pace with the growth of the business. A salary package in the vicinity of $160k including salary sacrificing benefits will be negotiated.
