As Unit Manager Land and Property, you will lead and motivate the team that is responsible for the strategic and operational management of City of Marion’s land and property assets.
This role requires extensive engagement with community groups and sporting clubs who lease Council facilities to achieve good governance and maximisation of the use of the facilities. To achieve success, you will foster and lead a team culture which is community and customer focused.
You will also develop and implement systems and processes which support a proactive maintenance program that ensures that Council’s facilities are safe and fit for purpose and you will also have responsibility for the development and oversight of Council’s minor capital works program.
We are seeking a proven leader who is collaborative, resilient and a strategic thinker who fosters innovation. You will build strong partnerships and are able to communicate at all levels sharing your vision, enabling you to influence and deliver.
Whilst focused on delivering for today you will also identify and report on trends, future opportunities and risk and initiate appropriate responsive strategies.
Armed with your expertise and experience you and your team will make a difference to the City of Marion. Tertiary qualifications in disciplines of Business, Commerce and or Asset Management are highly desirable.
