  • Thrive in the small team environment

ElectricSuper is a superannuation scheme offered exclusively to employees in the electricity supply industry and their spouses in South Australia.

ElectricSuper provides super services to over 3,000 members and has funds of over $1.4 billion.  They have consistently been successful in meeting their investment benchmarks, importantly delivering above median returns for members.

Once the Covid 19 crisis is over, members will need even more attention and so the major focus of this newly created position will be on the members –meeting with them to assist and educate.

Mostly you will be meeting with the members at their workplace which will mean you will need to quickly learn the major points of this unique defined benefits fund.  Your presentation skills will be well utilised as you will conduct induction sessions for the new graduates and apprentices.

As part of a small team you will assist with a range of activities designed to keep the members informed on a timely basis. Maintenance of the website, assistance with topical emails, more sophisticated newsletters and the member education seminar program will all be part of your role.  Your contribution will be sought and appreciated. Staying abreast of the industry will be important.

We are seeking a proactive person, preferably RG146 compliant and if not willing to become compliant quickly.  You will possess excellent communication skills with a working knowledge of WordPress being highly desirable.  We need a person who is committed to assisting people to retire in the best financial position they can be and so this role would also appeal to paraplanners.  Any knowledge of defined benefits superannuation schemes would be desirable but is not essential.  The ability to learn quickly, be part of a small team and to take pride in your work is of greater importance.

The role is mostly a 9 to 5 role but some flexibility will be required and some members are in country areas.  A salary will be negotiated which will attract the candidate of the calibre we seek.
