There are significant and existing projects planned for Campbelltown this year including the redevelopment of the Max Amber Sports Field, sporting club redevelopments and major road resealing projects. Additionally, your team provides Asset and Engineering services to support the Town of Walkerville when required.

As the leader of Asset and Engineering Services you will provide leadership to your skilled team ensuring that Council’s engineering solutions are delivered in a cost effective and efficient manner.  This is achieved through having appropriate planning and reporting strategies in place, setting priorities, fostering innovation and the evaluation of results.  It begins with ensuring quality design detail in which you will play an active, hands on role.

The delivery of projects on time and on budget is one measure of the success for your team. Staying aware of advances in processes and products that leads to a more efficient use of resources is also an important measure of success.

We need a leader who is respected for their own technical abilities and experience; one who will foster an innovative environment that leads to doing it better.  You will need to be financially savvy to assist with the development of the annual business plan and to report your performance to the budget on a monthly basis.

A truly collaborative work style and a commitment to service delivery is key to your success.  You will need a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field such as Surveying and possess the experience to provide leadership to your skilled team.
